Tonino Lamborghini Rolls Out Android Smartphone Worth $4,000

Tonino Lamborghini, the sub-brand of car manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini has announced the launch of a new limited edition smartphone, Antares.

“Antares is designed to match instantly recognizable Italian flair with great performance and stunning materials. Together these qualities speak to our exclusive design heritage, one that communicates the spirit of the ‘Raging Bull’ that adorns our crest. The phone’s body is sculpted from leather and stainless steel creating a vibrant and attractive finish. The beautiful screen is coated with impregnable Gorilla Glass and the chassis is furnished with exquisite leather that comes in several alluring colour schemes for both men and women.” added, Mr. Gianluca Filippi, CEO of the Tonino Lamborghini Group.

Inspired by the contours of the iconic Lamborghini supercars, the phone’s body is made of hand crafted stainless steel and has a leather rear panel. The luxury device features a 4-inch screen, a quad-core 1.5GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, 32 GB internal memory , a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The sound system is provided by an in-built Yamaha amplifier and speakers. The Antares smartphone will be priced at a hefty $4,000, and the press release says the phone will be first available in Russia and China during December, followed by Italy, United Kingdom, and the US in January 2014.
