Here’s a first look at the 2017 Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster, courtesy of automotive and fashion photographer Jordan Shiraki. Dressed in a new hue called Blu Glauco, the roadster packs a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine pumping out 750 horsepower, allowing for 0-60 mph acceleration in just 2.8 seconds and a top speed approaching 221 mph.
“President and CEO, Stephan Winkelmann confirmed Lamborghini will be producing the Aventador SV Roadster with a limited production run of just 500 units, 100 less than the Aventador SV coupe. Overall stats will be identical to the coupe with the exception of a mere 110 extra pounds for the roadster configuration. The weight gain is minimum due to the extremely rigid carbon monocoque chassis and the removable carbon roof weighing a scant 13lbs. “
Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce Roadster LP750-4 will be presented to the public for the first time this September at the Frankfurt Motor show. Pricing has yet to be announced.
