This beautiful 1953 Ferrari 250 Europa Coupe by Vignale is hitting RM Sotheby’s flagship New York sale “Driven By Disruption” on 10 December, 2015. Ferrari built only 22 of the 250 Europa, 18 were bodied by Pininfarina with just four by Vignale, making them the most desirable of the series. Bearing chassis no. 0313 EU, is powered by a 200 bhp, 2,963 cc SOHC 60-degree V-12 engine with triple Weber 36 DCZ/3 carburetors, four-speed manual transmission, independent front suspension with double wishbones and double leaf springs, live rear axle with semi-elliptical springs and Houdaille shocks, and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes.
