The Château de Versailles is planning a new venture with a luxury hotel and a haute-cuisine restaurant by the Michelin-starred Alain Ducasse. The Lov Hotel Collection will transform Marie Antoinette’s colossal former home into a luxury 20-room hotel with a spa, an underground swimming pool and a terrace with a view of the Versailles. According to Vogue, “a spokesperson for the Château confirmed that the three buildings were already overdue for repairs,” signifying that renovations were most likely imminent. The 30,000-square-foot venue is set to open doors in 2018. Well…All your Marie Antoinette dreams are coming true!
