The World’s First Permanent Ice Hotel Opens In Sweden

Ice Hotel
Sweden’s famed Icehotel, has just unveiled the world’s first permanent ice hotel – Icehotel 365. Located in the Swedish village of Jukkasjärvi – 200 km north of the Arctic Circle, the 2,100 sq ft resort houses 20 suites, 11 ‘art suites’ and 9 deluxe suites for its guests.

The suites are designed and crafted by artists from all over the world.

During the summer is powered by energy from solar panels, harvested during the warmer months.

The average temperature of ICEHOTEL is -5 C/21 F, thanks to the insulating effect of the snow.

You can now book a suite here, although we advise that you at least bring a puffer coat.
