The Cerro Pelon Ranch, owned by the American fashion designer Tom Ford, has hit the market for a reported $75 million. Designed by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando, the property includes a modern main residence that appears to float on reflecting pools, an eight-stall horse barn, indoor and outdoor riding areas, two private guest houses, a landing strip and separate staff quarters. Located in the Galiesto Basin, a short drive from Santa Fe, the property covers 20,662 acres, and has been the site of several films like Lonesome Dove, All the Pretty Horses, Cowboys and Aliens, Wild Wild West, 3:10 to Yuma, The Missing and Thor.
