Bel Air Mansion ‘The One’ to Sell for $295 Million at Auction

Bel Air Mansion The OneOne of the finest properties in America, Bel Air Mansion ‘The One’ which was once listed for $500 million, will hit the auction block next month at the much lower price of $295 million dollars. Conceived by architect Paul McClean, the astonishing property, which spans over a sprawling 3.8 acres, offers 360-degree views of the Pacific Ocean, downtown Los Angeles and the snow-capped San Gabriel Mountains.

The developer, Nile Niami who began working on the US home 10 years ago, aimed “to build one of the finest properties across the globe”.

The One is being marketed as the first and only residence of its size in Los Angeles, “With the current zoning restrictions, no one could ever build a home of this size in Los Angeles ever again,” says Aaron Kirman. “It is truly unique, not only because of its size, but because it sits on the very best promontory in LA, and in Bel-Air, which is arguably the world’s most exclusive neighborhood.”

The One boast 42 bathrooms and 21 bedrooms, across 105,000 square feet, as well as a three-bedroom guest house and seven-bedroom housing for staff. The house is still not finished but will be sold “as is.”

Beyond the eye-catching design the property features the most luxurious, over-the-top amenities ever created in a private residence: 30-car garage gallery, four swimming pools, a two-story waterfall, two restaurant-grade kitchens, an indoor/outdoor nightclub with its own VIP room, a 40-seater Dolby Digital home theatre, charitable organization rooms, a four-lane bowling alley, a 10,000-bottle wine cellar, a full beauty salon, a wellness center with a jogging track.

The auction is set for February 7-10, being held by Concierge Auctions, in collaboration with real estate agents, Aaron Kirman of Compass and Branden and Rayni Williams of The Beverly Hills Estates.

If the sale proceeds, “The One” would become one of the most expensive homes ever sold at auction.Bel Air Mansion
