Castello di Tavoleto, a stunning Italian castle once owned by the Pope is currently for sale priced at €5,2 million (Approx. $5,8 million). Built in the early 1300s by the Sigismondo Malatesta family, the castle is located in the center of a small town Tavoleto at only 20 km (12 miles) from from the stunning Romagnola Riviera towns of Rimini, Riccione and Cattolica.
“On top of a hill, a few steps from the sea, lost in tranquility and far from space and time, lies a majestic place where one can submerge into absolute serenity and hear the echo of one’s thoughts.” said in a press release sales agent Andrea Steffanini.
Superbly maintained, Castello di Tavoleto was bought by a private owner in 1960 who completely renovated and remodeled the place, and is currently used as a scintillating venue for weddings and fashion shows.
