World’s Most Expensive Coffee now on sale at Harrods



Harrods continues to astonish its customers with the most expensive and luxurious coffee in the world, Terra Nera. Originating from Quechua, a region of the Peruvian Andes with exceptional altitude, the coffee cherries are passed through the civet cat’s digestive system, and are then hand-collected to be processed. 100% Arabica, the Uchunari coffee has a rich aroma displaying hints of bitter cocoa, hazelnut and dry leather with a light, clean head, a smooth, buttery body and a velvety finish. The coffee, is developed in six grades by Terra Nera; customers of grade 0 coffee will get a 24-carat gold-plated sack which will be handcrafted and engraved by renowned silversmith Rebecca H. Joselyn.Terra Nera is only available by pre-order, in the Food Halls, Ground Floor at Harrods. Prices range from £140 to £6,800. (approximately $225 – $11,000) .
