Harrods continues to astonish customers with Terra Nera, the world’s most expensive coffee. Originating from Peru’s Quechua region, the Arabica beans undergo a unique process involving civet cats. Terra Nera offers six grades, with Grade 0 customers receiving a 24-carat gold-plated sack crafted by renowned silversmith Rebecca H. Joselyn. Available for pre-order at Harrods’ Food Halls, prices range from £140 to £6,800 ($225 – $11,000).
Coffee isn’t the only indulgence to carry an eye-watering price tag — earlier that year, Dubai unveiled the world’s most expensive edible cupcake, proving luxury desserts can be just as extravagant.
