Swiss watch brand Zenith has released a new limited edition watch Academy Christophe Colomb Hurricane. Water resistant to 30 meters the watch is housed in a 45mm x 14.3mm case in 18kt rose gold; the crystal is an AR-coated sapphire, as is the display back. The strap is brown alligator with rubber lining and 18kt rose gold triple folding clasp. Inside the Academy Christophe Colomb Hurricane watch is the Swiss manual-wind Zenith in-house caliber El Primero 8805 with 53 jewels, 36,000 vph and a power reserve of 50 hours. The movement is comprised of 939 parts, with the gravity control module having 575 parts. Limited edition to 25 pieces this “Hurricane” version is skeletonized with a fusee and chain transmission as well.
