The all-new 2014 Range Rover Sport has been unveiled at the 2013 New York Auto Show, with the help of Daniel Craig aka Agent 007 himself in order to show off its beauty and its power. As for the vehicle itself, Land Rover says the new Range Rover Sport will be the “fastest, most agile and responsive” Land Rover ever, featuring an all-new aluminum unibody architecture to achieve a weight savings of approximately 800lbs.
“The old model was quite conservative in its design,” says McGovern. “With the new Range Rover Sport, we wanted to pull it away from the Range Rover to give it its own personality.”
Inside, the Range Rover Sport feels more luxurious than the old model.
“The use of top quality materials and material finishes applied with the highest levels of precision enhance this exciting and cocooning design. It’s simply a great place to be,” said Gerry McGovern.
Four models of the 2014 Range Rover will be available when it launches in autumn 2013. All of those prices include the $895 destination charge. Full details are available in the attached press release below.
