Fiat is bringing the 500 by Gucci Edition back to American shores — “for a limited time,” the automaker says, thanks to renewed demand from fans who missed out the first time around, when the original Gucci Fiat 500 winter campaign that launched the collaboration first introduced Americans to the pairing.
The 2013 Fiat 500 and 500c Gucci arrive in Nero or Bianco exteriors, dressed up with chrome accents, retro-styled 15-inch aluminum wheels, and a scattering of “Gucci” badges that leave no doubt about the pedigree. Step inside and the two-tone treatment continues, with buyers choosing between all-black or a black-and-white contrast scheme, wrapped in Poltrona Frau leather and finished with a handful of other exclusive materials.

“It doesn’t get better than this: two brands like Gucci and FIAT collaborating on an encore of the fastest-selling Fiat 500 that we ever had in our U.S. portfolio,” said Jason Stoicevich, Head of FIAT Brand North America – Chrysler Group LLC. “The success of the Fiat 500 by Gucci demonstrates that there is a clientele in America that appreciates and demands high-quality small cars loaded with the craftsmanship, technology and the style that only the Italians can offer. Almost all of the vehicles of this new edition have been spoken for by our studios, and they can’t wait to start selling them again.”

Pricing starts at $23,750 for the Fiat 500 by Gucci, while the drop-top 500c by Gucci Edition opens at $27,750 — both figures excluding an $800 destination charge.
