Geveva-based jeweler Savelli has designed a new line of luxury smarphone designed especially for women. Meticulously handcrafted in Switzerland, the collection called “Jardin Secret” includes 11 models and feature a luxurious mix of exotic skins, as well as 18-carat gold and precious stones as decoration.
“From a design perspective, this was the objective: Creating a completely disruptive design which had nothing in common with any other phone which had ever been designed before,” chief executive Alessandro Savelli told WWD . “We wanted to create a shape that was feminine, curvaceous, but at the same time extremely modern.”
Savelli will unveil the Android handsets at Paris Couture Fashion Week, and will be available for sale at retailers including Printemps in Paris and Harrods in London , at prices ranging from $9,000 to $118,000. Julia Restoin Roitfield will be Savelli’s muse in a campaign shot by the internationally acclaimed Patrick Demarchelier. Campaign coming soon, we’ll keep you updated, so stay tuned.
