Porsche introduced at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, a classic 911 body style: the 911 Targa 4 and 911 Targa 4S – And it looks fantastic. Just like the legendary original 911 Targa of 1965, the new models feature the distinctive Targa roof bar, a movable front roof section, and a wraparound rear window; but unlike the original Targa, this roof system is fully automatic. Powering the 2014 911 Targa 4 is a 3.4-liter 6-cylinder engine with 350 hp and 287 lf-ft of torque accelerating from 0-62mph in 4.8sec and has a top speed of 175mph; while the Targa 4S sports the 3.8-liter flat six engine which makes 400-hp and 324 lb-ft. of torque, and can make the sprint to 0-62mph in 4.4s, 183mph top speed. The Targa also features all-wheel drive, making the Porsche all-weather ready. The 911 Targa 4 will have an MSRP of $101,600 while the 911 Targa 4S model will have an MSRP of $116,200.
