Belgian fashion label AF Vandevorst collaborated with Diarough/UNI-Design, an Antwerp-based diamond company, to create a pair of diamond ankle boots valued at $3.188 million. The calfskin boots, sized 39 (European), are studded with 38,883 natural fancy-colored diamonds and 4,783 grams of gold. The entire creation and manufacturing process took over 30,000 hours.
Unveiled during the Business of Design Week in Hong Kong in December 2013, the diamond boots are now on display at the MAS Antwerp Diamond Pavilion until February 23rd, 2014. Let us know what you think of them in the comments below.
