French retailer Colette collaborated with Playboy and Sanrio’s Hello Kitty on a limited-edition Hello Kitty x Playboy collection. The lineup included items such as Leica cameras, iPhone cases, candy, mirrors, memo notes, lighters, mugs, socks, bowties, boxers, shirts, and more. Ten special Leica C variants were produced, each featuring Hello Kitty wearing Playboy bunny ears and holding a camera; they were priced at approximately $1,265. The release coincided with anniversaries for Hello Kitty and Playboy and referenced Leica’s centennial.
