UK-based Baharash Architecture has unveiled its design for Oasis Eco Resort, touted as the world’s greenest eco holiday destination. Located in Liwa, in the southern region of the UAE, the Oasis Eco Resort will feature a range of sustainable innovations, including 157,000 square feet of solar panels to meet all its energy needs, onsite wastewater treatment and recycling facilities, and a designated zero-emission zone. Guests will have the opportunity to savor indigenous delicacies alongside organic international fine cuisine. Designed around a natural spring, the resort will comprise 84 interconnected suites and is scheduled to open in 2020.
