Italian shipbuilder Evo Yachts pushed the boundaries of boat design with their 13 metre day boat, the Evo 43. Designed by naval architect Valerio Rivellini of Studio Tecnico Rivellini in Naples, Italy, the 42-foot Italian cruiser is straight out of “Transformers”. The Evo 43 is highly fuel efficient with a maximum speed of 38 knots, a cruising speed of 30 knots and a range of 300 nautical miles.
At the push of a button, the rear deck expands out by 90 centimetres on each side, increasing the deck by 40 percent to 25 square metres. The “XTensions” and other functions can be commanded from your iPhone, to slide out and, in less than thirty seconds.
The interior features a double cabin, bathroom and seating/dining area, offered with custom configurations, 46-inch Bang & Olufsen TV “disguised” as a mirror and more.
There are three engine systems available: Volvo Penta IPS 600 (total of 870 HP), Volvo Penta IPS 500 (total of 740 HP) or Cummins 550 straight shaft (total of 1100 HP).
