The French fashion brand Louis Vuitton has introduced its first smartwatch, the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon, into the Android smartwatch market. Featuring a sapphire crystal glass 390 x 390 circular AMOLED display, the Tambour Horizon smartwatch reinvents the traditional 42mm Tambour silhouette. It uses the Wear OS platform from Google, which works with Android and iPhone smartphones. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 platform, the smartwatch has a heart rate monitor, GPS, and NFC for contactless payments. A variety of personalisation choices are available, including interchangeable straps and distinctive Louis Vuitton watch faces. By combining modern smartwatch functionality with opulent design, the Tambour Horizon smartwatch appeals to tech-savvy fashion enthusiasts.
The Tambour Horizon does what most smartwatches do, and comes with some custom watchfaces, along with some flight-tracking and a city guide dedicated application.
Pricing for the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon smartwatch in steel starts at $2,450, while the black version will retail for $2,900. For more info be sure to pay a visit to Louis Vuitton’s website.
