After the successful 1955 Porsche 356 Bonsai Speedster project, NYC-based artist Daniel Arsham has unveiled his latest project, Veiled Porsche – a sculpture depicting the iconic Porsche 930 Turbo mid-reveal as fabric is being blown off of it. With a technique reminiscent of ancient draping, the sculpture creates the illusion of the car being suspended in time, amplifying the dramatic reveal and creating an ambiance of anticipation.
Weighting a hefty 16 pounds (7.3-kilograms) the 387 × 184 × 177-millimeter artwork will be delivered in unique Arsham Studio box.
Limited to 500 pieces, each individual sculpture is assigned a unique number and accompanied by a three-dimensional authenticity card, as well as white art-handling gloves to ensure proper care and protection.
The decorative Veiled Porsche art piece will go on sale on January 13 via Arsham’s website. No word on price. TBA.
