Following Tuesday’s announcement of the iPhone 6, British jeweler Alexander Amosu has been commissioned to design the world’s most expensive iPhone 6, costing a staggering £1.7 million (approx. $2,760,495.80 USD at current exchange rates). The luxury designer has named his creation the “Amosu Call of Diamond iPhone 6,” and it will take two months to make. It features a full body recreated in solid 18ct gold weighing approximately 85 grams and is painstakingly handset with over 6,127 brilliant-cut diamonds in VVS1 IF color. The Apple logo will be crafted to the exact shape from a 51.29-carat (10.258g) cushion flawless cut diamond. If you can’t afford the $2.7 million price tag, you might consider the “cheaper version,” the Amosu 24ct Gold iPhone 6, priced at £2,399 (approx. $3,893 USD), which is available for pre-order at alexanderamosu.co.uk.
