Amanera, a new luxury property from Aman resorts, will open on the north coast of the Dominican Republic on Nov. 23. Backed by jungle, the 2,000 acres property is located on a dramatic clifftop overlooking the crescent-shaped Playa Grande beach; the resort will feature 25 free-standing casitas, constructed from local materials.
All casitas feature lofty ceilings and warm wooden finishes, while a selection offer private swimming pools.
Other facilities will include a open-air bar and lounge, a library, a cigar bar, a restaurant, pro shop, fitness centre, tennis courts, Aman Spa and a Robert Trent Jones–designed golf course.
