Some places look almost too good on film and Iceland is one of them. French filmmaker Yannick Calonge took his camera to the remote central highlands, a part of the country most travelers never see, and came back with footage that will stop your scroll.
This is not the usual ring road tourist route. Calonge focuses on the empty, raw interior where glaciers, rivers and black sand stretch as far as the eye can see. Every frame looks like another planet.
