This custom hollowbody features a solid 18‑karat gold top and 33 gold elements (nut, bridge, saddles, tone and volume knobs, switch knobs, string tree, ferrules, neck plate, strap buttons, headstock logo and lettering, etc.). Its craftsmanship and materials make it more suited to display or occasional use than regular gigging—playing risks wear, scratches, or theft. As art and status piece it’s impressive; as a working instrument, practical limitations (weight, tonal impact of heavy metals, maintenance) make it less ideal.
