Canon just unveiled its new high-end C300, a digital video camera that’s soley intended for professional film production. The new camera will feature a Super 35 mm-equivalent 8.28 megapixel CMOS sensor capable of recording a Full HD 1920 x 1080 picture and can shoot at frame rates of 59.41i, 50.00i, 29.97P, 25, 24p and 23.98P. The Canon C300 will be available in late January 2012 for an estimated list price of $20,000.
