French artist Charly Molinelli, founder of Molinelli Designs, has transformed a totaled luxury vehicle into a striking piece of functional art: the “Crashed Ferrari Coffee Table.” Crafted from the remnants of a wrecked Ferrari, the project was as much a challenge of sourcing as it was of design.
“Finding a Ferrari that had been totaled to the point of being entirely written off was a challenge,” Molinelli remarked. The resulting piece is a provocative reminder that even in destruction, there is a second life for automotive excellence.
