Bang & Olufsen, better known for high-end audio installations, decided to launch a new brand “B&O Play.” The first device in the B&O Play line is the new Beolit 12, a portable sound system designed by Danish designer Cecilie Manz. Featuring an aluminum case and grille and a leather carrying handle, the BeoLit 12 features Apple’s AirPlay technology which allows for the music to be played wirelessly from any of its products like iPod, iPad , Mac or PC. Priced at $799 , the BeoLit 12 will come in yellow, blue, and light grey varieties, and should arrive in stores this Spring 2012. Check out the promotional video below.
