Italian luxury fashion house Missoni partners with Century Properties and released renderings for its very first residential project, the 52-story Acqua Livingstone in Manila, Philippines.
“Living in a MISSONIHOME-designed address is a rare lifestyle experience. For the first time it will be possible at Acqua Livingstone,” said Project Head and Century Managing Director Marco Antonio, who elaborated the tower’s design highlights: bold colors and energetic forms in the lobbies, hallways and even elevators, accentuated by equally arresting furniture. The multi-level amenity area called The Canopy, located at the building’s skydeck, serves as the pinnacle of MISSONIHOME’s design imprint.
The Canopy’s lower level will house functions rooms, business center, an indoor and outdoor gym, Jacuzzi, a library and spa. The upper level is a social space dedicated to interaction and entertainment with an amphitheatre, lounge, DJ booth and dance floor, pool with swim up bar, and barbecue facilities. Tying these two levels together is a fanciful organic wire-mesh tree that winds its way up and connects to the mezzanine floor, where residents can enjoy surrounding views or enjoy a meal in the open-air dining area.
With floating lights, patterned surfaces, Missoni shapes and forms guiding the landscape, The Canopy provides a true Missoni lifestyle experience, a blend of art and function that completely redefines the condo living experience.
Scheduled to be completed in 2015, the project is the fourth tower of six in the $315.9 million Acqua Private Residences project, developed in the Philippine capital by Century Properties Group.
