Italian supercar maker has released the first pictures of the Lamborghini Huracan, the long-awaited replacement to the Gallardo. As you suspect, the 610 references the car’s horsepower; powering the new supercar is a 5.2 liter V10 engine delivering a maximum power of 448 kW / 610 HP at 8,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 560 Nm at 6.500 rpm. The brand new Huracán will reach 0-62 mph (325 km/h) in 3.2 seconds, 0-124 mph (200 km/h) in 9.9 seconds and a top speed of over 202 mph (325 km/h).
“The fighting bull Huracán of the Spanish Conte de la Patilla breed was known for his outstanding courage and strong sense of attack. He fought in Alicante in August 1879, showing his unrelenting character and remaining defiant and invincible, thus entering into the legend of fighting bulls’ history.”
Other features include a 12.3″ TFT instrument panel, full LED headlights, 7-speed dual clutch transmission, carbon-ceramic brakes come as standard, and all-wheel-drive. The Huracán will make its official debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March.
