French luxury Moynat has released a new video showing how the Réjane bag is made, from start to finish. The bag is a tribute to Gabrielle Réjane, the celebrated Parisian stage actress. Each Réjane takes one artisan 20 hours to complete. Every step happens in their hands, from the stitching to the final polish. Watch the video below to see the process unfold.
This is not the first Parisian trunk maker to open its doors this way. In 2012 Goyard released Le Rendez-Vous, a short film by Samuel Rixon and Raphaël Hache that follows a young woman collecting a bespoke trunk at the Rue Saint-Honoré store.
Atelier Moynat is situated at 348 Rue Saint Honoré, Paris
