Officine Panerai unveiled at Watches and Wonders 2014 in Hong Kong, the Radiomir 1940 Tourbillon GMT Oro Rosso 48mm (PAM00558). At the exterior the Radiomir 1940 case with a diameter of 48 mm is made entirely of 5Npt red gold; with a high percentage of copper and platinum, giving the gold a warm, elegant tone which helps also to prevent oxidation. The dial is brown with a satiné soleil finish, featuring luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers.
Inside is the Panerai P.2005 calibre, executed entirely by Panerai; The P.2005 also houses a GMT 24-hour complication.
The piece is supplied with a brown alligator strap, closed by an adjustable red gold buckle, personalised Panerai. Intended for devotees of luxury sports watchmaking, this watch is limited to only 30 pieces; pricing has yet to be released. Full technical details below.
