Mercedes-Benz joins the luxury crossover coupe market with the 2016 Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S Coupe 4Matic. Revealed ahead of its world premiere at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, the new GLE63 S Coupe 4MATIC combines the sportiness of a coupe with the strengths of an SUV – under the hood packs a AMG 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine that is rated at 577 horsepower and 561 lb/ft of torque. At the interior, upgrades include sport seats with specific upholstery, a high-end Bang & Olufson sound system, flat-bottom steering wheel, special trim and a modified instrument cluster, and AMG badges.
