Renowned piano manufacturer Steinway & Sons unveiled Heliconia, a new piano designed in collaboration with French crystal maker Lalique. Combining the best of Steinway & Sons with the best of Lalique, the magnificent instrument is adorned with 75 individual crystals, all fashioned by hand at Lalique’s Alsatian factory , and then carefully placed on stems of silver, on the legs and sides of each piano at the Steinway factory in Hamburg. Available in black or white as grand pianos, the result is a beautiful piece of art.
