MB&F introduced the Horological Machine No. 6 (SV for “Sapphire Vision”) at SIHH 2016. The Swiss manufacturer completely reimagined the HM6 with a case measuring 51mm x 50mm x 22.7mm. It features a “sandwich” construction, consisting of a precious metal case band positioned between two transparent sapphire crystal plates and accented by nine sapphire crystal domes.
Inside is a three-dimensional horological engine developed exclusively for the HM6 by MB&F and David Candaux Horlogerie Créative. This complex movement is made up of 475 components and includes a flying tourbillon and automatic winding.

“I always thought that the most beautiful part of HM6 was its movement, and that it was a shame not to show it. But it was only recently that the technology of machining sapphire crystal allowed us to create such a complex case,” explains MB&F founder Maximilian Büsser.

Limited editions of 10 pieces in 18K red gold or platinum 950.The MB&F HM6 SV in 18k red gold will be priced at $368,00 USD, while the MB&F HM6 SV in platinum will be priced at $398,000 USD.
