Say hello to Tomoto, a custom motorcycle created by British designer Tom Dixon in collaboration with Moto Guzzi and renowned customiser Stefano Venier.
Unveiled during the Milan design week, the eye-catching bike features patterned aluminium rims, bespoke Pirelli tyres, gas tank bearing the inscriptions “Guzzi” and “Tomoto” and a signature lamp for a headlight.
“The love of motorcycles has never abated,” the designer told to Dezeen, “and when I had the opportunity to visit the [Moto Guzzi] factory, which is an amazing document of 1920s manufacturing – it’s still made in the same factory, just 20 minutes away in the hills above Lake Como – I managed to convince them to let me tinker with one.”
Unfortunately, the motorcycle is just a prototype with no plans for mass production.
What do you think of this fantastic uber-bike?
