It’s official! Legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld is officially collaborating with Vans. The capsule collection will be presented at the Bread & Butter trade show in Berlin in early September and will feature six different versions of classic Vans shoes in Karl Lagerfeld’s signature black and white color scheme.
“Fusing the two brands’ respective universes,” says WWD. Vans’ iconic checkerboard pattern is set to receive a camouflage update, “depicting Lagerfeld’s iconic profile, with boucle fabric and a quilted letter K among other leitmotifs.”
Prices range from $40 to $300, which is a lot more wallet-friendly compared to some designer pieces. What do you think of this collab? Yay or Nay?
