Norwegian architectural firm Snøhetta has revealed designs for Under, Europe’s first underwater restaurant in the coastal village of Båly, in Norway. The concrete structure will primarily serve as a restaurant for 80-100 guests, but the space will also be used as a marine biology research center.
“Researchers from Norwegian research centers will seek to train wild fish with sound signals, and will study whether fish behave differently throughout different seasons.” according to the designers.
The three-level restaurant is designed to feel incredibly open, visitors will be able to look through a massive panoramic acrylic window. What do you think of ? Fancy dining under the sea?
