Renowned German camera manufacturer Leica has released a special edition Leica M Typ 262 with a red-anodized finish. Limited to just 100 examples worldwide, the red anodized Leica M is the perfect partner for the red APO-Summicron-M 50 mm f/2 lens released last year.
With its concentration on the functions essential for photography and intuitive handling, the cameras will be technically identical to the standard production Leica M (Typ 262). The serial numbers for these limited edition cameras are engraved on the hot shoe and will range from 5235001 through 5235100.
The Leica M (Typ 262) ‘red anodized finish’ is available exclusively at Leica Stores and Boutiques for the price of $6,995.
