Designed with a high level of comfort and luxury in mind, Arctic Bath is a 12-room floating spa and hotel, opened on the Lule River in the Swedish Lapland. Built from local materials the gorgeous property designed by architects Bertil Harström and Johan Kauppi is inspired by “the timber floating era which recalls how felled trees were transported downriver for processing”.
The hotel features a bird’s nest–like main building that houses a spa with an outdoor cold bath and 12 standalone cabins, six on the water and six on land.
Each room features a private terrace, a great spot to enjoy Northern Lights in winter, and the midnight sun during the summer months. The restaurant offers a five-course meal made from local produce, while the bar serves a selection of craft beers and wines.
Located in Harads, Swedish Lapland on the Lulea River, the Arctic Bath Hotel is just over an hour by car from Luleå airport.
This is perfect retreat for those seeking solitude in nature.
