Mercedes-Benz developed in conjunction with Swiss mobility specialists Micro Mobility Systems AG a smart e-scooter. Designed to take transiting workers the “last mile” from the car to the office, the eScooter is made from top-quality components and materials, and it was built with one thing in mind: longevity.
Powered by a 250 W motor (500W peak), the eScooter and can rapidly accelerate to the 12.42 mph (20 km/h) speed limit in Germany, and a range up to 15.5 miles (25 km).
The 7.8 Ah battery charges in around 3-3.5 hours using a standard domestic socket, and reaches 70% charge in just over two hours.
At the time of writing Mercedes and Micro Mobility Systems didn’t reveal a release date or price tag for the eScooter. Watch the video below to see the eScooter connected to the Micro app that will display its range and more vitals.
