Mercedes-Benz is exploring the world of two-wheelers once again, this time joining forces with N+ Bikes they have introduced the EQ Formula E Team eBike. This unique eBike uses pedal assist technology which senses the torque or power input of the rider and seamlessly matches it with electric motor assistance – As you pedal harder, the power-assist performs faster.
Weighing only 17kg, this is the ultimate electric bicycle, is comes with the power unit and battery in the centre of the bike delivering 50/50 weight distribution. The 36v/7ah Panasonic battery pack and related wiring are all stored within the seat tube. 
It produces a 32km/h top speed (limited to 25km in some countries) and range of 60-100kms. 
Other notable features included, a 6061 Alluminum hand polished frame, carbon fork, Gates Cdx crankset, Tektro R290 Hydraulic Discbrakes and Sturmey Archer five-speed drivetrain.
