Leica introduced a new special edition camera in collaboration with skate culture brand Vans, and photographer, skater and musician Ray Barbee. The special edition Leica D-Lux 7 Vans x Ray Barbee is covered in the iconic Vans checker board pattern, Van Vault logo on the top plate, as well as the skater’s signature.
The camera comes with a matching strap and a special petrol blue dust bag that feature Ray Barbee quote — “the joy is in capturing the journey”.
This restyled limited edition has the same technical specifications as the conventional model, 17 megapixels of resolution on a large 4/3rds sensor, a fast 24-75 mm equivalent f/1.7-2.8 zoom lens, USB charging, touchscreen display and wireless connectivity through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth that recently received a performance upgrade.
Limited to just 800 examples worldwide the Leica D-Lux 7 Vans x Roy Barbee can be yours for $1,695. Available now at Leica’s website and in-store boutiques.
