What a beauty! New York fashion label Aimé Leon Dore (ALD) and Porsche have teamed up for the third time to unveil a bespoke 1960 Porsche 356B. The project commenced with a 1960 Porsche 356B donor car, which has been meticulously and tastefully customized, incorporating modifications and components that stay true to the original era, both inside and out.
The exterior of the car boasts a Midnight Blue glossy finish, and it has been customized by removing the front and rear bumpers, adding fog lights, installing brushed aluminum wheels with classic whitewall tires, and a hand painted gold crest finishes the front fender.
At the interior, the cabin has also been reworked, with a hand-painted gold leaf accents, a Carrera 2 steering wheel, Midnight Blue leather seats featuring tonal embroidery and a complementary tartan plaid pattern. The seatbacks and floor mats have also been updated with matching Midnight Blue alpaca finishing.
The public unveiling of the Aime Leon Dore Porsche 356 is scheduled for May 5th, and it will be exhibited at ALD’s main store located at 224 Mulberry Street in New York City.
