Pagani Automobili, renowned for its top-tier and avant-garde performance, introduces the Imola Roadster—a convertible engineered to bring the pinnacle of mechanical and aerodynamic technology to the open road, ensuring unparalleled performance without compromise.
Lorenzo Kerkoc – Head of Pagani Grandi Complicazioni, states: “Initially, we wanted to create an open-top twin of the Imola Coupé, the vehicle introduced in 2020 which paid homage to the legendary racetrack. Then we took another approach: we combined the Huayra Roadster BC’s sophisticated technology with the design and aerodynamic principles of the Huayra R track car. The result is the much more advanced and complex Imola Roadster”.
Sporting a twin-turbo, 6.0-liter AMG-engine masterpiece, the Imola convertible unleashes a whopping 850 horsepower (625 kW) and a torque monster with 811 pound-feet (1,100 Newton-meters). This power is channeled to the rear wheels via a specially tailored seven-speed sequential gearbox from Xtrac, designed exclusively for Pagani. When you push it to the max, it’ll hit a blistering 217 mph (350 km/h) before the electronic speed limiter jumps in.
Inside, it draws inspiration from the glorious past and projects, you’ll find a seven-channel audio system, embossed leather, carbo-wood trim, and, as expected, Pagani’s meticulous attention to detail.
The wheels on this car (265/30 R20 at the front and 355/25 R21 at the rear) are unique forged components encased in Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires, emphasizing its road-worthy nature. Despite its V12 track-oriented design with wings and fins, this vehicle is, in fact, legally permitted for on-road use.
The price? Pagani is producing only eight Imola Roadsters, indicating a price likely to reach into the millions and a high probability of being completely sold out.
