Mathias Bengtsson x Dom Pérignon: Sculpting Nature in Champagne

Inspired by the beauty of nature, Dom Pérignon, the renowned Champagne house owned by LVMH and led by Chef de Cave Vincent Chaperon, collaborated with Copenhagen-born, Stockholm-based artist Mathias Bengtsson to create a remarkable limited edition. This exclusive collection features Champagne bottles elegantly encased in intricate, vine-inspired sculptures, paying homage to the wonders of the natural world.

Renowned for his innovative approach that fuses the delicate intricacies of nature with advanced technology, Mathias Bengtsson brings a unique and exciting vision to this project. Employing a bio-mimicry process, he “grows” sculptures from digital seeds encoded with DNA that simulates the natural growth of vines under varying weather conditions. These digitally conceived forms are then expertly brought to life by skilled artisans, embodying a vision of a flourishing future.

This exclusive collection will be strictly limited to 60 numbered editions in gold and 20 numbered editions in rose gold, emphasizing its rarity and exclusivity. The gold edition showcases Dom Pérignon Vintage 1999-Plénitude 2, representing the pinnacle of expression for the 1999 vintage. Meanwhile, the rose gold edition features Dom Pérignon Vintage 2000-Plénitude 2 Rosé, a testament to the maison’s mastery of rosé Champagne.
