Ferrari is honoring its legendary heritage with a new line of exclusive collectibles. Titled Ferrari Collectibles: Symbols of a Legacy, the collection fuses innovative design with the powerful emotion evoked by Ferrari’s most iconic cars, and was unveiled during Milan Design Week. From victorious race pistons to hybrid V12 prototypes, these genuine parts, reimagined for enthusiasts who cherish motorsport history, embody the essence of Ferrari’s racing spirit.
What makes these collectibles stand out is their raw, sculptural aesthetic. Flavio Manzoni and the Ferrari Design Center treated each piece like a car design—stripping away the excess to let the purest, most essential elements take center stage.
“While conceiving the new Collectibles series”, says Flavio Manzoni, Ferrari’s Chief Design Officer, “we wanted to consider our background as designers at the Ferrari Design Center, not just in the field of design but also in architecture. This approach is consistent with our way of working on car designs, where we tend to operate by subtraction rather than adding superfluous things, to identify and communicate—in true Ferrari style—the emotion of the project.”
Among the standout pieces on display in Milan are a Tipo 048B engine from the F399—the car that clinched Ferrari’s long-awaited 1999 Constructors’ title—a 6.3-litre V12 from a LaFerrari prototype, a camshaft from the F2003-GA driven to a championship by Michael Schumacher, and an exhaust from Kimi Räikkönen’s 2009 F60.
