Swiss watchmaker De Bethune has unveiled an absolute stunner: the Dream Watch 5, aptly described as “an authentic wrist sculpture.” The case, a delta-shaped is done in mirror polished titanium and the crown at 3 o’clock is adorned with a 1-carat cabochon-cut ruby. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective treatment and the solid caseback has the signatures of David Zanetta and Denis Flageollet. Inside the case is the Swiss manual-wind De Bethune in-house caliber DB2144 with 32 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 5 days. This incredible piece comes with analogue minutes indicator on a rotating disc, and a tiny spherical moon-phase indicator at the center. The novelty is completed by a extra-supple alligator strap with a titanium pin buckle. Priced at 150,000 Swiss Francs (Approx. $164,000) the Dream Watch 5 is certainly no ordinary timepiece.
