City of Dreams Hotel Tower in Macau by Zaha Hadid Architects

zaha-hadid-city-of-dreams-01Zaha Hadid Architects and casino specialist Melco crown Entertainment recently unveiled designs for the “City of Dreams” a 40-story luxury hotel tower in Cotai, Macau.

“The tower’s exposed exoskeleton reinforces the dynamism of the design. Expressive and powerful, this external structure optimizes the interior layouts and envelops the building, further defining its formal composition and establishing relationships with the new Cotai strip.” described in a press release the renowned architect, Zaha Hadid.

The tower houses approximately 780 guestrooms, suites and sky villas, including a variety of meeting and event facilities, gaming rooms, lobby atrium, restaurants, spa, and sky pool. Development of the new hotel at City of Dreams started in 2013, and is expected to open in early 2017.
