Underwater Luxury Hotel Receives Patent Approval

American designer Tony Webb has worked to make the Planet Ocean Underwater Hotel a reality. Offering spectacular panoramic views, the hotel will comprise of 12 rooms located 28 ft (8.5 m) below the surface of the ocean. And like most luxury hotels, the bedrooms will have a king-size bed, a bathroom , a refrigerator, internet access, audio-visual entertainment systems and massive panoramic acrylic windows. The ambitious project is classed as a vessel, buyers can purchase the single unit – a complete underwater hotel with 12 rooms would cost $20 million. Possible places include Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Dubai, Israel, Egypt , Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia , Guam, Saipan, Hawaii, French Polynesia, Fiji, Bali , Panama, Bahamas, Belize, Cuba, BVI, USVI, St. Marten. So what would the cost of a stay be? Each room can be rented out for $3,000 to $6,000 a night. No official date for the grand opening, but the good news, you can win a free stay when the hotel opens by registering interest on the Planet Ocean site.
