The World’s First Permanent Ice Hotel Opens In Sweden

Icehotel 365 Sweden

Sweden’s iconic Icehotel has unveiled a groundbreaking addition: Icehotel 365, the world’s first permanent ice hotel. Located in the village of Jukkasjärvi, about 200 km north of the Arctic Circle, the 2,100 sq ft resort features 20 suites — 11 art suites and 9 deluxe suites — all designed to deliver an unforgettable guest experience.

The suites are designed and crafted by artists from all over the world.

During the summer is powered by energy from solar panels, harvested during the warmer months.

The average temperature of ICEHOTEL is -5 C/21 F, thanks to the insulating effect of the snow.

You can now book a suite here, although we advise that you at least bring a puffer coat.
